Abbie is efficient and thorough

Abbie has an excellent understanding of the complex and varied needs of clients who have sustained catastrophic injuries. This is demonstrated both through the content of her immediate needs assessments and case management reports, and through her hands-on work with the clients when implementing rehabilitation recommendations. Abbie builds a great rapport with clients and shows real skill, understanding and empathy when setting and reviewing the pace of their rehabilitation goals, and introducing various types of input to meet a client’s needs. Abbie is efficient and thorough when coordinating input from a large Multi-Disciplinary Team, and very adept at encouraging professionals to work together when setting clear and joined up rehabilitation goals.

Rebecca Maddock - Solicitor Irwin Mitchell

Always enthusiastic in her approach

Abbie has supported and mentored me through my probationary period as a new rehabilitation case manager. She has always been a great support and provided encouragement and advice as needed. She is highly skilled and has very good teaching skills and explains things well. She engages well with all staff in a friendly manner and is always enthusiastic in her approach and keen to discuss cases and help with clinical reasoning. I can see how these skills as a mentor also help her to be a very effective case manager.

Jane Potter - Case Manager

Excellent communication skills

Abbie has extensive knowledge of the issues faced by people who have an acquired brain injury and their families. She understands the roles of MDT members and can therefore facilitate effective goal orientated MDT working for the benefit of her clients. Abbie has excellent communication skills and responds to requests from clients and therapists in an efficient manner ensuring that rehabilitation is not delayed.

Angela Birleson - Neuro Occupational Therapist - Let's Accomplish Change

She reacts quickly to urgent situations and assists in problem solving. Approachable, articulate and knowledgeable, Abbie always delivers what she has promised.
To quote a (mutual) client, Abbie “is a little diamond”!
